so, bones is back. :P if you didn't already know, it would be kinda obvious from my blatant obsessing over it if you've talked to me AT ALL on msn in the last few days.

so I decided to celebrate by capping the first two episodes and making some icons. there'll be more in the next few days, I didn't do very many tonight because I have a SHITLOAD of uni homework to do -fails at life-.

My plan on having my Veronica Mars and Bones dvds before we left fell through, they haven't arrived yet and I doubt very much that they will before tomorrow morning. So like, I need stuff.

Preferably fic recommendations, so if you guys know any good fics or read something you enjoyed lately, PLEASE link me! I'll die of boredom down there with no internet. :(

I'm good with anything, really I am. ^___^ I'd PREFER Harry Potter or Supernatural fanfiction if you have any, with higher ratings than PG. :P But really, I'm easy to please.

ALSO, while I have your attention, I thought I'd point out that journalpics.net has been hotlinking a whole bunch of people's icons and animated gifs and the like. I don't know what the story is, exactly, but from what I can tell they have some kind of "scraper" that literally grabs images from live LJ feeds.

Then they post them, without hosting them themselves.

They're basically taking a crapload of people's icons, hotlinking them, bunching them all into huge posts of 200 icons or more, and they're doing it all without having once placing foot in anyone's journals or actually checking to see that the icons they've nicked are even available for free use.

More specifically, take a look here. There's a whole bunch of icons I recognise. So if you see any you recognise as well, please inform whoever made them!

My fangirlishness is getting out of control. :P Someone needs to reign me in, or lock me up or something before I start going rabid and frothing at the mouth. :P

I got really bored today, look what I made!




It's got like, 260-odd frames, and over 270 layers. ^_^ And it's not like I've got a bunch of time to waste either. I have all this other crap I should be doing, and yet here I am - capping 300 frames of ONE scene to make this little button.

Feel free to take and do with it what you will, but no hotlinking! It's reasonably large, and it's saved to my own server because imageshack wouldn't have it. :P So, you'll have to find your own place to host it, sorry beezies.
